Sanctuary of Montallegro

Built between 1557 and 1558, after the Virgin Mary appeared to the farmer Giovanni Chichizola, the sanctuary offers a wonderful view of the Gulf of Tigullio.

How to reach it: by car from Rapallo. Alternatively, you can make a pleasant day trip out of it taking the cableway (7 minutes) or hiking up the old mule trail, to enjoy delightful panoramic views of the whole valley (1.5 hours).
